Kehilat Hederech – Prayer Requests – May 2016

PRAYER REQUESTS

“Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things.” (Hebrews 13:18)

  1. Although we see somewhat of a decrease in the number of terror attacks, we encourage you to keep praying for the protection of the people, for wisdom for our leaders and for God’s peace in the midst of this volatile situation. Pray for a spiritual revival on both sides, as this is the only true solution.
  2. Concerning the new building, it is now under construction, and will not be ready by the end of May, when we need to move out of our current place. In fact, October 2016 seems a more realistic prediction for the construction completion.  Please pray for a smooth and problem-free construction process, so it may be finished in time.
  3. We are now busy with packing everything and getting ready to move out of our current building. We are in need of a temporary solution for about 2-3 months, starting on June 1st. At the moment we have several options (using a building of another congregation in another town, meeting outdoors, and dividing into small groups at our houses) and we will probably use several of them, alternately.  Please keep this urgent matter in your prayers.
  4. Our “pre-youth” ministry (ages 10-13) has been a true blessing thus far and we are truly grateful for that. Please keep this new ministry before the throne, as we see it as very important.
  5. Because of our move to a new building and the temporary situation of not having a place for several months, we had to cancel our annual youth summer-camp planned for this coming July. We hope to have it in December instead. Please pray for our youth, so this would only strengthen the group.
  6. We started building a relationship with a Holocaust survivals’ club in Karmiel, but have encountered many difficulties and obstacles. We are praying about ways to minister to them and for more doors to be opened.
  7. Please keep our pastors in prayers. Please pray for their health, for their well-being and for their families.

We thank you for your ongoing love and support.
