Ons is so pas terug van ons uitreik na Mecula in die Niassa gebied waar OM se ander basis is. Ons sal later meer oor die uitreik skryf maar deel graag hierdie getuienis. Dit is in engels omdat ons dit as n span saam elke dag aangeteken het.

On Thursday morning we went with Limardes (OM leader in Mecula Mozambique) to a Muslim woman. She is a witch doctor who trains young girls to perform traditional rituals. She was very ill and weak and asked us to come and pray for her. Limardes knows the culture and after he explained to her that only Jesus Christ is the Healer and Savior, he prayed for her. She was paralyzed on one side of her body. While we prayed, Limardes told her she should call on the name above all names, the name of Jesus for healing. The words “Jesu” came from her lips and we burst out in tears. Limardes again explained to her and her family that she must stop with all traditional treatment and rituals otherwise there will be no healing for her in the name Jesus. We sat a long time with her and served her with the Word of God. Her family helped her to sit on a chair after she was lying in a dark room for two months. She was still very weak.
Saturday morning we went back to her. She herself spoke and said she slept well without pain. Again Limardes explained that Jesus will do nothing for her if she is still working with traditional treatment. The family stood at the door while Limardes prayed. We helped her to get up from the chair and she gave a few steps by herself and sat outside in the light. It was wonderful to see the change on her face from the literal darkness into the light of Jesus, we began to praise Jesus for her healing. We sang Hallelujah. She started to sing with us, tears ran from her cheeks as she sang “Hallelujah, hallelujah!” A large crowd stood outside, watching.
We went to her again on Monday. Her name is Angelio. She came out of the house walking with one of the members of the family. Jesus did a miraculous healing for her as you can see on the photo. We spent 2 hours with her, praying and serving her with the word of God.
Please pray with us for her complete healing and saving grace by Jesus. The family told Limardes that they saw Jesus is God, the Healer. Please pray for the saving grace of Jesus Christ in this woman’s life and also for the whole family, her testimony could make a big difference in the community.
